This is a page where I write down blessings I received during the day as my way of thanking God for his continued protection and providence.

What Could have Been
Now I can talk (write, actually) about it, though I still shudder everytime it comes to mind:
I almost fell from the 7/F (I have not told anybody. Not even RSS nor GCS!)of a hotel where our business community conducted a Wellness Gathering, on Saturday. The room was packed (many wanted to see and experience the difference demonstrated!)to more than full capacity. I was in the group that was near the glass wall. Seven floors below the glass wall is the pavement. I was attending to one of the guests, whose back was towards the wall. I had to get around her so I could better attend to her. I stepped on the ledge behind her chair to get to the opposite side(remember, she was seated close to the glass wall which was covered by a ceiling-to-floor curtain)and I lost my balance! I could not remember if I grabbed the chair she sat on or the curtain, whether I fell forward or backwards! At that moment it did not even dawn on me that I almost fell with probably splinters of glass and the hot pavement below for a bed, all broken and mangled! My mind was focused on what i was to do for the first time. It was only after the Gathering that I realized I could have been history by now! I still shudder thinking about it. In the train yesterday, i shrieked softly.
Thank you, Lord, for my Guardian Angels. Thank you for their protection and guidance seven days a wwek, 24 hours a day. Thank you that you did not allow 'what-could-have-been' to happen!

I know, I know! Its been more than a month since my last blog post. But am here now!
Overheard between two sixty-something friends sipping capuccino:
Friend A: ...can you share your favorite quotation? I need one to post in my FB.
Friend B: Forgot who said it but here's how it goes, "There is beauty in a fleeting
moment if you don't cling to it forever."
Friend A: Isn't that a bit, eer, shallow? Is it really your favorite...any senti
connection?
Friend B: None...it just happens to be the only quote I can recite from memory,
now!
Another day, same place, same characters:
Friend B: You mean you're now an entrepreneur? What do you do exactly?
Friend A: Well, let me put it this way. I'm connected with a multi-national company
whose skin care and wellness products seek out and slow the signs of
aging at its source...the result of 35 years of research and development.
Friend B: Really? Have you used the products...do they work...I mean, slow aging?
Friend A: Am glad you asked that. Time was, when I take the jeepney, tricycle, go
to the grocery, the wet market, anywhere, they would ask, "Saan tayo,
Nay" ("Where to Old Lady?"), or "Ano sa inyo Nay?" ("How can I help you,
Old Lady?")
Since I started using the products, the "Nay", more often than not has
been replaced by "Maam", haha!
Thank you Lord for the additional funds for the additional years! And thank you that I can laugh at myself (I laugh at others just as much, haha)!
Bless my friends in ca2020, especially those who have touched my life!
