I know, I know! Its been more than a month since my last blog post. But am here now!


Overheard between two sixty-something friends sipping capuccino:

Friend A: ...can you share your favorite quotation? I need one to post in my FB.

Friend B: Forgot who said it but here's how it goes, "There is beauty in a fleeting
moment if you don't cling to it forever."

Friend A: Isn't that a bit, eer, shallow? Is it really your favorite...any senti
connection?

Friend B: None...it just happens to be the only quote I can recite from memory,
now!






Another day, same place, same characters:

Friend B: You mean you're now an entrepreneur? What do you do exactly?

Friend A: Well, let me put it this way. I'm connected with a multi-national company
whose skin care and wellness products seek out and slow the signs of
aging at its source...the result of 35 years of research and development.

Friend B: Really? Have you used the products...do they work...I mean, slow aging?

Friend A: Am glad you asked that. Time was, when I take the jeepney, tricycle, go
to the grocery, the wet market, anywhere, they would ask, "Saan tayo,
Nay" ("Where to Old Lady?"), or "Ano sa inyo Nay?" ("How can I help you,
Old Lady?")

Since I started using the products, the "Nay", more often than not has
been replaced by "Maam", haha!


Thank you Lord for the additional funds for the additional years! And thank you that I can laugh at myself (I laugh at others just as much, haha)!
